SIMPLEST MOD!!!!!
clearing the tails is SOOOO EASY!!!! so easy.. I have done it 4 times now and have no messed up yet.. i have only done it for one person on the board.. but he was so satisfied.. the only HARD part is cutting the plastic light cover in the shape of the blinker.. but mainly because i was so **** about it..
1. take apart tail light from iside(4 8mm bolts and take all bulbs and electrical out)
2. remove the tail light from the car (simply PUSH from the inside of the car outward and have a knife ready to cut the "black goo" away and make sure you dont get that on anything)
3. grab a chair of some sort and your headgun (go to town.. heat around all the edges for about 10-15 minutes off and on.. DONT OVERHEAT.. move the heat gun around and let it cool down here and there)
4. simply take a screwdriver and your hands and pry the tail light apart.. its so easy, take your time and use lots of heat to get that silicon nice and melted.
5. take out the plastic.. cut your piece to match.. pop it in, heat up silicon and put it back together.
EASY I SWEAR.

Tails
Yeah, thebigsadler is rt on however, I actually stuck mine in the oven at ^200 degrees for about 10 mins which heated it up real nice then just used a hairdryer sparingly on the seam. I pried apart using an oven mit(pulling on the black inner part, while pushing the lens to the counter with a putty knife(wrapped with a rag). Be real careful to have the lens firmly sandwiched between the knife and the counter and it comes apart real easy. Lay a rag on the counter first. I heated the trunk-side of the tail with a hairdryer before pushing it out - makes it a lot easier. And don't cut away the black stuff - you'll want it there to reattach later.
E me with any questions and good luck.
