Hey Guys,
Here is my question maybe it is normal or not I dont know. When I am driving my car at highway speeds I can feel air coming in through the vents. If the slide button is on hot or cold that is what I feel. The **** you turn to select fan speed is off though. I dont think it was happening at slower speeds or at least I dont notice it. Could this somehow be tied into an air filter replacement? I replaced it with the regular cone type. This is something that I was not sure if it happened to everyone or if it is just happening to me. Any ideas or other information you need are great. Let me know.

Thanks everyone

SuDZ

Hit the re-circulation button. Problem solved.

I'll check.

Is it the one where it has the air coming in from outside the car?

yeah, even with the fan off, air pressure at speed forces air in. If you set the system to re-circ, that valve, wherever it is, closes.

If there was NO air coming into the cabin with the button presesd, you would suffocate and die. Thank Nissan for the 'leak'.

Thanks

Thanks for helping out. This was something I should have thought of. I will take a look at it when I get back in.

This leak also keeps the car from exploding if you leave the system set on "fresh air" for too long.

Sheesh...

Just make sure that the re-circulate button is off after eating Taco Bell. Or else this could prove to be a fatal mistake...

So true...an automobile, much like an elevator, is not a good place to be after that grande burrito.

The button is right next to the turbo boost button, but make sure the sunroof is closed first or else you'll go flying.

I augmented mine with the JDM eject button for the right seat.
