Climate controller

No, the dgital one has an extra wire harness that plugs into the back of it. If your max did not come with the digital, then you cannot put it in. THe computer on the digital ones has that "extra" circuitry for it. You can maybe get a computer that has it, the harness, etc, but that would be quite expensive. Sorry

Thanks.

- The in-vehicle sensor, attached to the A/C control finisher.
- The ambient sensor, attached to the radiator core support.
- The sunload sensor, located on the right defroster grille.
- The intake sensor, located on the cooling unit housing.
I believe this conversion is possible but costly and probably not worth the effort. To judge by past posts on this newsgroup, the automatic climate control is more failure-prone than the manual type and replacement parts are expensive.
dan is right
the auto climate control isn't worth it. I have it in my car and it isn't all that it is cracked up to be. it acts funny sometimes.

Climate Control
Hey Thanks guys. I am custom painting the dash with a different color. The reason why I am painting the dash is that I am installing a custom stereo system into it. I have a flip out tv, a cd player and a dvd player all in the dash. (not alot of room there) I just wanted to finish it out. I wanted the controller because it would take less time to paint about the buttons. Thanks again. I will find another way.
PS when I am finished I will post some pics.
