The easiest way I've found is to use "Sticker Remover" from an auto parts store, or just spray WD-40 around it, let it sit, then pull away. Then wash, wax, etc.

I just want to know how long the moderators will keep this thread here before sending it to the "off topic" forum.

What do you guys reccomend for reattachment???? I need to repaint my gold badging. Would it be easier to just mask everthing off, and paint them while on the car still? If not...what adhesive do you reccomend??

Go to your local nissan dealer and ask for some emblem adhesive. When they show you the brand say "no thanks, forgot I had some of that" and go to your local parts shop and buy it there for about 1/6th the cost.

Kirk

P.S. Why did you have to bring us back to a logical state of mind? (jk)

Haha! Well this thread made me get back off my *** and redo my badging today , I just flossed all of them off, purchased some "Rustoliem (sp)" Gold Metallic paint, and resprayed them, it looks brand new, and I love it. Got some generic adhesive from Ames to reattach, it's back together and looks great (alot of you dont like badges, but on my Pearl White Max, i think they look awesome!). And in case any of you are wondering how I painted the burger without hosing down the black "nissan" writing, I used somewhat of a "ghetto" mod to do it. Took some of my little sisters playdoh and stuffed it into the nissan crevices on the badge, and sprayed away....worked like a charm. when the paint had dried, I just peeled away the playdoh and voila!, good as new. Considering a body shop wanted 85.00 for 24k replating, and this cost me under 5.00.....and looks identical, it was well worth the hour it took to accomplish it.
