just got red/clear tails for 95' I need tail removal help though

Help me take out my tails. Link with pics would be very helpful. I think I saw one before but can't find it. Thanks guys.

its very easy... take out the pins to pull forward the carpet part.. take out those 4 bolts from each tail, disconnect whichever wires need to be, im sure the part you had trouble with was getting the lense out... theres a seal that make it hard to pry it out. just slowly pull it out, try doing a little on each side... try pry it with a flat head screw driver, but make sure you dont lean it against something thats painted cause you dont want any scratches.. hope that helps

Once you take out all the pins, you'll notice that the tails are held in place by a black goo.

I scooped out most of the black goo and kept it in a clean place. Once you get most of the black goo off, you'll notice your tails are a lot easier to pry out. Be REAL careful when prying out the tails.

My advice is to just use your hands and wiggle back and forth and you'll notice that it'll come out slowly. Just be sure not to get the black goo on you. It's sticky and messy.

And when you put the new tails back in, use the black goo and spread it all around the new tails.
