odometer
If you can't figure it out than you shouldn't even try. I mean any common sense could get it done. You might want to start with a screwdriver and start taking apart the speedo assembly. Depending on how exactly the Maxima's parts are assembled you either need to disconnect or cut the cable that goes to the mileage. There might be other taking apart that's neccessary on this car. I know two screws on the steering colum and two on the instrument roof will take a honda one out.
It's real easy,
If you have a 95 or 96 max with the analog odometer you can just remove the meter fuse in the master fuse box next to you left knee.I warn you though after you do this your car will act strange I think when you remove that fuse your altinator shuts off and after you drive your car for about 20 minutes it dies and then the stinkin check engine light comes on.The way you would make this work is by after running your car for 20 minutes re-install the fuse for 5 minuted and then remove it so the battery recharges, this is a real pain in the *** but it works.I did it for a week but it was to annoying so I stopped.
