I was wondering if anybody here has 8.5 inch wide rims on there Max? I was wanting to get some in either 17" or 19". Will they rub or anything? Would getting the 17's instead of the 19's be smarter since the rim is so wide? I don't want the tires to be sticking out or anything. Oh yea, I have a '95 SE! Thanks!

8.5" will work (I have them) but you need to get the right offset (38-40mm would probably be best)... Rim diameter doesn't matter in that respect.
