Camber Kit for the rear needed with Eibachs?

I just got a 4 wheel alignment. Nissan dealership couldn't fit my 18's on the machine, so I found a shop that accomodates up to 22's. It was $70. However he said due to my drop he couldn't make much adjustment to the rear. He said it is very close to specification, but just tilted in a little. He said get the kit and bring it in and he'll do the rear for free.

Any experiences would be appreciated.

There is no camber adjustment in the rear. Actually the suspension is designed to run the wheel at zero camber no matter what height your running at. So changing the ride height has no effect on the camber in the rear of our cars. Your alignment shop must have been refering to the front end.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong here.

Damn, that **** charged me for a 4 wheel alignment, when only 2 can be aligned? I don't know, cause nissan offers a 4 wheel alignment in the coupons they sent me. We need DanielB.

ya...that guy ripped you! if i was you i would go down there and tell him that you can't align the rear of the maxes and DEMAND your $$$ back...some people these days...just too shady..

and now I highly doubt you will need a camber kit for your fronts....the eibachs aren't that low of a drop...most people don't even need them w/sprints...

I was thinkin, oh no not this kid again, just kiddin. Yah he aligned the fronts with no problem, but said there was nothing to adjust the rear by, so I needed a kit, but I guess its all good. My tire wear will tell the real deal.

4 wheel alignment

In order to get the proper thrust angle you need to shoot all 4 wheels. That doesn't mean you need to adjust all 4, but you do need to shoot all 4. That way your steering wheel is guaranteed to be straight when you go straight. (THRUST ANGLE) Any good alignment shop ALWAYS shoots a 4 wheel even if there is no adjustment on the rear.

The Maxima has only one adjustment for alignment: front toe. Getting a four wheel alignment will get you the alignment specs for the rears, but if they are off, they cannot be adjusted. I got the Lifetime Alignment from Firestone. $130, and I've gotten four alignments already. It's really worth it.
