I have a friend who installed a JWT popcharger and he said that in the instructions it mentioned that it might cause overheating.

????

I don't understand how it can possibly cause overheating. it has nothing to do with the cooling system? does it? perhaps if it's not cleaned for a very long time and there is no air flow... but that wouldn't cause overheating, it would cause poor fuel/air mixture resulting in poor fuel economy, might mess up some sensors and cause the Check engine light to go off. That is about it. There are people here who've had pop chargers on their cars for tens of thousands of miles without any problems.

Yeah, i live in Florida too. SO even if you keep it idling with the ac on for a while, it won't overheat? I tend to do that during lunch time.
