Help Me.. Quick

I have an electrical problem. I had my corning bulbs replaced, and now they don't work at all, and to make matters worse, The back reds don't come on now when I turn the headlights on.... is this a fuse or what? If so... the fuse cover from the driver side is missing.. so I can't tell what fuse does what. So if you all think it is a fuse, Im going to need to know which one. Any help would be greatly appreciated and thanx.

Please strive for a meaningful Subject line when you originate a thread. In this case Lighting problem would be better than Help Me.. Quick.

It is possible that a fuse has blown. However, that would be a symptom rather than a cause. A blown fuse is a sign of a current overload, possibly due to a short circuit. You will have to identify and repair the cause of the overload.

Please check fuse #5 (7.5 amps) in the passenger cabin fuse block.
The passenger cabin fuse block is located behind a pull-out panel in the lower dashboard, to the left of the steering column. It has three columns of fuses.
Numbered from bottom to top....
- the left-hand column contains fuses 1 - 11
- the middle column contains fuses 12 - 26
- the right-hand column contains fuses 27 - 40

The numbers are molded into the plastic fuse block. They are not easy to read. A flashlight will be helpful.

DBM's suggestion of the fuse probably will fix your lighting problem.

If the fuse is not the culprit, I would check the wiring harness on the trunk hinge. Toyota Camry's are infamous for pinched taillight wiring harness, which causes the lights to function intermittently. This probably does not apply to Maximas, but it's something to keep in the back of your head.

When a problem crops up it is a good idea to ask yourself "What changed recently?" Your post contains a useful clue. You had your cornering bulbs replaced. Are the new bulbs of higher wattage than the stock bulbs? If so, go right back to stock bulbs. Examine the bulb sockets for signs of damage (melted plastic, scorched appearance) and repair as required.
