I have a 97 pearl white colored body maxima...
I put in a metal mesh valance (where the fog lights run across the bottom) which i primed and painted white. It looks hot. Now, I'm thinking of painting my black grille which sorrounds the "nissan" emblem to white. I've seen it on one maxima in LA this summer and it looked pretty hot.

I need suggestions.....i already have the spray can of primer and paint which i have left over from the valance metal mesh.

I think that's a good idea, especially if everything else is white.

 

have it sprayed to match the rest of the car profesionally. Ususally body shops only charge between $40-60. You may have to buy a new emblam as well if you want behind painted too, they run like $15 at Nissan.

I paid $50 to have my SMX grille painted.

 

i don't want to spend too munch money on this grille.
I want to do it myself, and say I've done it and it looks good.

I got all the tools i need total of $7.
I'd rather do it myself since I know how to correctly prime/paint a car's grille...the color will be close enough to my OEM "QN0"...that'll do for me cause u won't even notice the difference unless u come up to the freakin grille and compare the body to grille.

i've seen this on many maximas... looks very hot.. if i had a pearl white i'd do this for sure.. and yea, professionally matched would be a good idea.
