i was wondering if anyone had these. it says they are a new design in which there is no need for the removal of your needles. any help or feedback is appreciated. thanks

my boy Joe just got his like 2weeks ago, they look good but still interfere with the needles moving sometimes. We actually used silicone on the back of the gauges to help hold them as close as possible and still there are problems.
I say stay away from indiglos, unless you want some annoying problems!
i believe those are the same brand gauges he bought.

what about the blue needles has any one had problems with these.just curious.they look really good too.

thanks for the info. i guess the only safe thing to do is to change the stock bulbs behind the gauges.

That's another big headache if you don't do it right.

I installed the indiglo gauges from custommaxima.com and it was a peice of cake. The part that makes the needles stick is the round end of the needle (not the clear part but the black round piece that holds the needle. I took sand paper and sanded down the underneath side of the black plastic on the needle and it fixed it. I know this probably doesn't make any sense. You can email me if you want more explanation.

Check my homepage for some pics. Btw, I didn't use anything to hold the gauge on. Some have said to use double sided tape, I tried that, and the needles were stuck. So, I took the tape out, and the gauge held fine without any tape. No problem so far.

i bougth those indoglow needles.....you dont need to remove the needle jsut need to remove the lil balck cap that goes over the base od the needle.....all my guages are great and i have not had any problems with anyhithg...all works good.

i am determined to get them to not stick... i will take them out again when i have some time and use some more silicone... the needle for the tach sticks, but at first it would only stick at high rpms, then sometimes it would stick at lower rpms sometimes it wouldnt... im either going to try to find very thin double sided tape, or use some more silicone... i would use crazy glue but i dont want to mess up the black gauge faces behind the indiglos.. too bad because crazy glue would make it stick good

i too have these needles, and they look very nice. all my needles work fine.

however, if you go with import intell.'s needles, let them install the kit. when i first got the kit, i tried to install the kit myself and screwed my needles up badly. i ended up getting a new gauge cluster. i shipped the kit and the new cluster to import intell. and they took the needles off and installed the kit. they shipped it back to me and I wired it up. needles work fine and kit look sweeet. i get a lot of compliments on it and it's my most unique mod..
