got in a wreck a few weeks ago and was driving a 2001 grand am for a few weeks, geez am i glad to get the max back. There was one thing about the grand am though, those seats were so comfortable. Are there any cars that could swap seats with the maxima?? maybe a I30?

 

There are a bunch of aftermarket seats that can fit in the front. And some people have swapped out the rear seats with I30 rear seats.

curious, what's the difference between the i30 seats and the max's that would make it worthy to change? more comfy, or design, or?

 

Don't the I30 rear seats have headrests and higher quality leather? The one thing I think that is really lacking in the Maxima is quality seats....there is almost no lumbar support or lateral bolstering in the front seats. What are the options for seat replacements though? I wouldn't want to get full-out race seats like Recaro, just something that looks stock with bigger side bolsters and lumbar and just general better seat padding.

Dave B used Black Leather Prelude seats in his and they looked fantastic. I think he had to have a bracket made to bolt them in but it wasnt hard from what I remember.
