Skyline Parts

Are there parts available to put on 4th Gen. Maximas that look like Skyline parts (i.e. brakelights, headlights, seats)?

You can buy a real GTR badge for about $70 I think.

I think the oil, air, tires and paint are direct replacements.

Hmmmmmm

I think I'm looking more in the direction of cosmetic Skyline features. Basically I want to incorporate the look of the Skyline into the Maxima (i.e. breaklights that look like breaklights from a Skyline and so on and so forth).

Thanks

Re: Re: Re: Paint around the circles on alturdas,

it would take some body work to incorporate the skyline lights onto the max.. as far as i know the skyline tails are 1 piece i think... but like mentioned before you could get the altezzas that they make for maxes and get transparent paint from a model shop and paint em up..

they sell transparent that works like "smoking" the lights.. havent seen it yet on a max.. maybe ill try it.. i dont like the big ovals tho.. so we will see.. i attached a pic of a friends altima with skyline headlights.. he had to have a whole new front end put on..

just buy a skyline instead of pretending to have a skyline.

the taillights u can get for like 1000$ then custom fit onto ur max.

GTR badge is 50$ btw, or less.

the front you can also custom make it that will sorta look like R33.
dont know how much it cost.

ya......the SKYLINE parts are very expensive....taillights are almost 1k...and you still have to custom mold them onto your trunk....i say go for it if you got a lot of $$$ to spare...

and while your at it..spot me a few hundred too...

Re: Hmmmmmm

There are no imitation skyline parts for Maximas. And please don't try to make your own, it just ends up cheapening and ruining the image of both cars. Like they said, you can get the Altezzas and paint or vinyl around the circles, it's kinda Skyline looking, but ugly.

I'm looking into getting the R33 Skyline taillights put on my car. It's around $1k for the lights, then bodywork, but I can get the bodywork done for very little, so that's not too bad. I'm trying to find measurements now.

I've seen at least 2 or 3 Maxima's down here (South Florida) with Skyline tails. I had the lexus IS300 lights custom fitted onto my car (on the inner trunk pannel) then just put the altezza's on the outside, it looks pretty good actually. I know a decent and cheap body shop down here if you live around the Miami area.

Sorry, I don't have a digital camera, and even if I did, I'm just assuming, I wouldn't drive around with it

There are a few web sites I've come across too that have pictures of them. I forgot the URL, but Depravado knows. If you see him around ask him.

O' lol, sorry. I had a pic on the boards a while ago, before the Altezzas were even out. I got a 50/50 response. I'll try and get to a digi-cam and take an updated pic with the altezzas on, and the "MAXIMA" lettering back in place.

BTW, the key-hole was shaved as well...100% improvement!
