Probably a dumb question

Im sure this question has been asked before , and maybe it is a dumb question for me to ask , but oh well... Is it possible to cram the new 3.5 maxima engine into a 4th gen ? and also , is it possible to get the 6 speed tranny put in ?? Even if the engine wont fit , can the 6 speed fit ? and if i got the 3.5 in , would i need new exhaust, or could i just keep my greddy and budget setup the way it is ... ??

It will probably be less expensive (and less trouble) to just buy a 2002 Maxima with a 6-spd and trade in your current Max.

The VQ35DE would definitely fit. It's the same block.
