I've been thinking of putting a body kit to my max, but I'm such a worrysome person. What is the resale? Like say I wanna get rid of the car in a few years, what to do with body kit, or any aftermarket parts???

Keep all your factory stuff, then when it's time to sell the car, you can sell off your aftermarket pieces and put the factory stuff back on the car.
