Pictures of my interior color change.

Hehe. I know you've all been waiting for these. I used a paint called color coat made by "SEM"
Please visit www.semproducts.com for more information. I will have to give my dash another coat on monday as I see there are spots that I missed
Basically, it looks stock. Also, other pictures are of my headliner and rear deck. I did not buy a headliner at a junkyard. I had my cheapy beige headliner and I sprayed it with carpet glue and glued another layer of headliner material on top of it. Came out great as you can see. As far as my rear deck, well I "shaved" it. I don't have any rear speakers so I removed all the rear vents and the speaker grilles and just reupholstered the rear deck in the same manner. LOTS more pics to come soon but enjoy these for now.

Anton

Looks sweet Anton. I wish I had the time and money to do mine like that, I really like it though.

Anton....

You are the MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That looks very clean and professional...

Is the steering wheel sprayed as well? Looks like the stock GXE wheel to me... is that the factory headliner?

Also
Did you mix the color yourself or did they do it for you? I am looking at the site and it looks like they sell kits with different colors which you need to mix to colormatch.. I don't want to do that since the brown/tan is a ***** to match, as I've learned myself already

How is the headliner attached to the roof?

Headliner is just another layer of headliner material that is glued ON TOP of the factory headliner so it's pretty much plug and play. Yes, the steering is painted
The paint that I used is a spray can. No need to mix or anything.

I beleive the only hting he sprayed was the tan parts of the dash and doors. I think he replace the seats with black ones, and covered all the carpet stuff.

I only painted the dash, steering and my armrest/console. I masked everything else off and removed the carpet, door panels and seats for this procedure. I did not paint the door panels as I bought seats and door panels together. It was a long tedious job. Thin layers of spray paint on top of each other. I did my center console first as to practice on it.

hmm,
I think he sprayed the dash pieces only.... The leather is factory from another Max. Looks damn good. Maybe it's safer to wait a bit to see if Anton has any problems with the paint fading before spraying everything
It's still hell of a project and it looks so much better then the nasty tan.
