help, I need to know how much air I should put in my tires

I got 2001 SE rims on my fourth gen but I didn't buy the tire size recommended. I bought the 235/45/17s instead of the 225/50/17s. What is the best and recommended air pressure for my tires? I'm getting tired of the rough ride, feels like I'm riding in an SUV. Thanks to all.

Are you experiencing even wear or are they wearing down uneven?
Thank you.

Forgot to ask about the way your cars ride. The tire pressure you guys are running, do they feel better or is it a slight change that you can't tell the difference?
