What kind of Blubs??

Some input on what kind of 9004, H3, and also the wedge blubs(I think they are 168). Also those with Custommaxima.com Red/Clears what kind of blub (color) did you put in the wedge part of the clear. Ne input would be nice. Thanks in advance.

Both. I was looking for the HID look, but not the cheesy K Mart Look. But HID are not an option (too much $Flow$ needed). I heard the PIAA SW 9004's were good, ne thing better? And are the corner lights right next to the headlights wedge blubs? (PIAA Wedge Blub X-treme White) What u think? Thanks for info.

As far as the wedge bulb goes, you may use the 194s. Polarg superwhites are very good, I have them and they look great. As for the headlights, the PIAAs are great, but do you have the 60-90 dollars per pair, with the poosibility of it melting your harness? I don't, so I may be going with the APC superwhites or something to that extent.

Forget the PIAA 9004 ... get the Philips BlueVisions instead. Much whiter and brighter than stock... not an HID look, but at least you won't crash into a pole with those "fake HID" lights.

So they do have a chance to melt the harness? I really dont want to upgrade the harnesses. I see all the people with the blue/SW clearance lights and i'm not sure what they have. And I think if i have blue/SW clearance lights then it would look nice with the SW headlights & fogs but if they will melt the harnesses maybe itz not worth it?

Philips BlueVisions

I just put in the Philips BlueVisions. They are slightly brighter and slightly whiter than the stock but not by much. The light pattern is also better than stock. Since they are only about $10/each, they are worth a try.

I melted my harnesses with some off brand "hid" BULBS, but I think they might have been overwattage bulbs.

I have been down that melted road. I have order a the upgraded wire harness kit, now I'm in search for the bulbs.

To the people with PIAA all up front, is it a perfect match like people say? If not, what would you all suggest matches up front? Your input would be greatly appreciated.

Defintiely go with the PIAA Platinum SW bulbs all around! Ive had the 9004's in for a few months and they look great as well as increase visibility a decent amount. I havent had a ny problems with them melting the harness, as long as you get the same wattage as the stock bulbs your good. As far as the clearance, fog and wedge bulbs, go with the same PIAA Platinum SW's. They match the 9004 perfectly and are bright as hell. I love my setup how it is, I just completed it today when I got the clearance lights in.

Thanks for all the input. As for the side marker wedge blubs the manual says 194, but PIAA doesn't have 194 they have 168. So the question is will the 168's work??

Yes the 168's will work to replace the 194's. They are not quite as bright, but they are still nice if you get the PIAA's. They are bluish, but so are the 9004's and H3's, so they match.

No, they only make the 168 for some reason.

what the hell is a "blub" (title), im kidding.. bulbs are a hard thing to decide on, i think i change mine every other week.. and if you are getting aftermarket bulbs that run 80/100 you must get the APC harness, trust me, it is not worth your time and hassle to worry about frying a wire harness.. not fun.

I am right now into the Acura CL/TL look, with the HID style Purple heads, gold yellow H3's, and "rewired" orange corners.. i like it.

I have no idea. I didnt notice it until u said something. The PIAA Platinum series SW have a wattage: 45/65w = 85/110w. The Stock wattage is 45/65w. So if they both require the same amount of wattage to burn but one produces more, u think i would need to upgrade my harnesses?

9004's Get the philips blue visions, they are legal, cheap, and don't burn out quickly, they may not be as WHITISH BLUE as the other ones but they are brighter than stock, for turns and corners get all POLARG Superwhites unless you want amber signals. and finally for H3's i cannot stress enough how beautiful the Super Plasmas look from PIAA Japan, not PIAA USA, they have a rainbow color on them and cost about $60 but they are worth it.

PIAA vs. Blue Vision

How does the PIAA compare with the Blue Vision 9004 bulbs?
