Can anyone give me directions to make parking lights brighter
I would like to make my side parking lights (the ones next to the headlights) brighter and I would like to have some instructions. I know I could probably search and find it, but I am at school right now. Thanks.

No rewire solution
1) unscrew the phillips head screw that connects the clearance light to the head light
2) this will loosen the fixture. On the fender side of the fixture, there is a plastic clip behind a metal tab. Slowly and with a little tug pull this plastic tab out from behind the metal tab. It will not break. I have taken mine out many times with no problems. just pull it toward you.
3)the last thing that is holding the fixture in is a small ball and socket assembly. use a little wd-40 and just pull this apart. It will go back together much easier now.
4) take the bulb out.
5)on the bulb you will see 2 knubs on the metal part of the bulb. one knub is closer to the glass (higher up on the bulb) than the other. Take a pocket knife and cut this knub that is higher off.
6)Now install the bulb backwards. You may have to put the bulb back in, test the lights, and then try again. It will fit in both ways, but backwards will light up the 27watt filament rather than the 8 watt filament.
9)put the fixture back in the car by putting the plastic peice be hind the metal tab first, and then press the ball and socket back together.
10)enjoy your brighter lights.
