Looks good.

I just wish you had taken them during the day - they are pretty dark.

P.s. In your sig. you list shaved trunk keyhole but It doesn't look shaved in the pic. ??

How come you're clearence lights aren't on? In the last pic you have your headlights on, but there is no light from your clearence lights.

First off the keyhole (it was supposed to be done last week, the paint guy has been out of town, so it should be done this week, sorry).
Second-the clearance lights are not on because I rewired the front bumper clears to run together, and the clearance light now blinks.
Third-the entire kit runs $1800, and it is an up and down/front and back setup only (no corners, I didn't want it). The rear is all the way down in the pic, allowing the muffler to sit approx. two inches off the ground. BTW I sell these kits also so if ya want them, please e-mail me for details (alex@southwestautoworks.com)
The rear in the pic is again all the way down. My tires are 235/45/17.
Fourth-I installed the air setup with only one other guy's help.
Fifth-Nick R., man's gotta have his toys (let's see), the Dakota 4x4, the CBR 600, two Honda Rancher ATVs, two Sebrings, two altimas, a Maxima, and a GTP....Fun toys everywhere!!!!!

just wondering what the ride is like... i hear mixed reviews. is this the same technology that is in new air ride cars like the audi off road? or is it something different/harsher? thanks for the info... oh yeah, i assume the kit is for all around, not just the rear, correct?

Harsh? no, it rides like a cadillac, but is dependant on the height. Lower you go harsher it rides. I can tuck tire and still ride awesome. It only rides bouncy (not harsh) at the lowest point, and at the highest point, but anywhere in between is fine. The price is for the entire kit, of course.

I am telling you, this ride is awesome, ask anyone who has ridden in this car, it handles just as well as my car was on Sprints, with no ride problems. AIR BABY AIR....
Just like a Caddy (is what people say
I unfortunately didn't tie down my line running to the front (so it busted-installer's fault, umm wait, that's me), so that's why I can't move the front, I've got it sitting at my almost highest point in the pic, in case any of you guys are wondering why the hell the front is so high

i think i have fallen in love with my new suspension. lets see... $1800 for airbag or cattman's coils... thats a tough one! you say that you have this complete kit available and it is not the same one that greg (custommax) had that was a b!tch to install? if so, i am now starting to save pennies and will have this by next summer

I believe Greg purchased a kit from a shop called Hack Shack (whose owner I know in California), however, these mounts you get are made by us with Blow Jax cylinders (from Bimba, the manufacturer) not the same as the Chassis Tech Blow Jax Setup. It does come with all instructions.

It is important to note that I have had this kit in now for over a month, and the only thing I did was re-tighten everything within two weeks, and I use and abuse this kit on a daily basis, and it comes back from more.
The ONLY negative thing I found is that once you use all of the air out of the tanks (I mean empty empty empty) it takes about a minute for it to refill so you can get it all the way up. If your tank is out of air, it only takes about fifteen seconds to be able to get it up to driveable height.
One more thing, my baby can roll without a problem with the air suspension all the way down (I mean tucking tire). It is awesome watching people just drop their jaws to the ground, as I drop my car to the ground.

You guys have to see pics from last weekend. We were on the freeway, doing about sixty five, when my friend took a pic of my car just cruising about three inches off the ground. Anyone with a Stillen kit would have had that **** looking like it was hovering above ground. Just bad ***....

RedMax, I am so glad you asked that question. It is identical to my Sprints (with it all the way down), and believe it or not, you can still use a camber correction kit for the front (I don't, but you can use the camber bolts, if you so choose)...
If you do want to play it risky, you do have to roll your rear fenderwells, as there is a potential of the inner lip hitting the outer part of your tire, so grab a baseball bat and wedge between the tire and the inner well, and ROLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL AWAY!!!!
I did, so the tires don't get eaten up.

i am considering this setup, not only for the ability to slam it to the ground, but to get rid of my bouncy crappy ride.. my question is do i have to drive like a grampa now with air ride?? i have a tendency to drive anywhere from 1-7 miles of the speed limit, maybe more.. will i be slower as far as the 1/4 mile ?? i know the air tanks would add weight, just some thoughts..?

Ok, first off speed thing, ask anyone in AZ, hasn't slowed me down. The tank is a five gallon tank (therefore 5 lbs at fullest). The compressors are half a pound each. Cylinders (rear) weigh 10lbs less than Springs/shocks, the front is identical weight (or damn near). Nice thing about this is, if you are down to race, drop the front end down, raise the rear up, and you got yourself a race car (Rake look, if you know what I mean). Overall this suspension is just plain fun, I don't know how else to describe it....

Well, look at my pics, very minor negative camber, matter of fact I;ve seen dropped Maxipads with greater negative camber, and it's because our bottom mounts are so unique in design, that's why.
You would have to see them
They look kinda like steering end links
I know hard to picture but do so much for the ride and looks...
As far as where i keep everything, all in the trunk, takes up one corner of the trunk

Oh I just found that the server at ASU was flooded, should be up soon, sorry everyone. Nizmolee, I know, I know, but damn it I love them.........
Anyway, the airbags in the front are CT Customs, with Southwest Auto mounts. Rear cylinders are Bimba-made Blow Jax Cylinders (no longer sold by Blow jax-go figure), again with our own top and bottom mounts.
Yes, I can get GR2s, drop me a line quick, with your zip,I'll give you a price

hey alex how much do you think a shop would charge to install these??

if i could find someone with some jackstands who would be willing to help.. are the instructions easy enough for someone with little knowledge of the airbag suspension to put on? how long do you think it would take?

lastly, sorry about all the Q's, but long do you think this suspension setup would last? i am a daily driver and i wouldnt want to have to worry bout changing the air setup out after like 6 months.. and what maintence does it require?

thanks a lot, i cant wait to see those pics, still havent been able.
