Ground Control/Koni Shocks
Ground Control/Koni Shocks
hey what's up guy's just wanted too ask a question. I just purchased Ground Control Coilovers and Koni (yellow) Sport adjustable shocks. I have a 99 Maxima and had recently changed my stock toyo tires with 225/50/16 Yokohama A550V tires on my stock SE rims. I'm gonna lower my car at least an inch and a half, but the reason why i bought coilovers is because i wanted to have the freedom too lower and raise my car whenever i'd like. But my question is camber plates. what are they and would i need them drastically if i lower my car more than an inch and a half? the lowest i'm ever gonna lower my car is 2 inches. so would the purchase of camber plates be necessary with my tire, shock, rim, and coilover combination? If anybody could help me out, i would greatly appreciate it. Thank You.

NIce choice and how much are the Koni yellows, i plan on getting struts within the upcoming weeks. But anyways you wont need any camber plates you'll be just fine, drop it 2 inches as regular drivng its not that bad, lol dont forget send me the price thanks.
hey thanks for your help. i really appreciate it. I got my Koni's from greg at www.custommaxima.com he charges $450+$30 shipping so $480 all together. I'd consider buying them from him because he can only get them at this price and it's not that bad of a price. And for the Ground-Control Coilovers they cost me $400+$24 shipping straight from the company, so $424.00. I just recently got them both in the mail and hope to put them in soon. Again thanx for your help.
