Do it yourself Clear Taillights
I've read the HowTo on making your own clear tail lights, but I'm somewhat wary of screwing up my tail lights. First off I'm wondering what exactly a heat gun is? It sounds like a big industrial strength hair dryer. If I could get those issues clear up then it sounds like the rest of the install is simply removing the lights, replacing the amber with the clear flourescent lighting cover and putting the tail lights back in place.

I used a hair-dryer. It probably wasn't as hot as it should have been, however, because my finger hurt after I finished.....then I had to do the other one
It's something which, if you mess up, can be very bad...and expensive.
I will re-do mine later, I want to make it look OEM (meaning I have to find a plastic insert w/ the same texture....)
I will find a heat gun next time.
