Clear Acrylic Hoods...
#2
There is a company I talked to in San Diego that would make it for $600 or so estimated but I never followed thru with the prototype...I just today got a Carbon Fiber hood so I can hide my dust until I finish the steel braided hoses. I have seen some nice styles from www.935draggers.com like an Accord with 935 showing thru with Black lighting...it was nice at HIN in Del Mar a bit ago

Smells like a group deal under $500
Not for me though, I like my ponies covered!!!
If you have an engine fire, I guess you'll be able to see it alot sooner, but will the hood melt? What if you hit a deer?
I'd like a clear, see-through engine!!!!! Now that's a sight (that will never happen)
