question on rims...

ok, first off, i'm finally putting on my 16" momo's. i'm upgrading from 15". will this affect my tachometer at all? and if so, what do i do about it?

also, i need as much info on my stock 15"s, i might sell them to my boy and he needs to know the lug pattern, whatever. sorry if this is all explained in the sticky's. if it is, then i'm sorry to waste your time, just let me know. thanks in advance.

well like ... as for affecting the tach.. it wont affect it like directly... like it wont do anything to it.. dammit this is hard to explain.... ok here we go... bigger rim means more to push... more to puch and spin loss of power on take off... top end great.. casue its more or less the same concept as gears in the tranny... u never start in 4th(unless ur like dead on gas and even then ) the smaller the gear the faster it turns ... there for the smaller the rim the better off the hole... the bigger the rim the better top end... something u should put thought into... although going from 15 to 16 aint that bid of a deal... but hey... hardly noticable....

hope it helps

No, it will not affect your tachometer in any way; however, depending on the size of the tires, your speedometer may be a tiny bit off, but don't worry about it. The lug pattern is 5 x 4.5" (5 x 114.3mm).
