When i switch it on, the light goes green but i've spent an entire trip pressing set cruise and it doesn't ever turn on. I've checked all my fuses/relays and everythings good. What could be the problem?

Check the vacuum line going across the firewall under the hood. Goes over the brake booster and into a pump actuator. Make sure the hose didn't come loose or is cracked.

There is a switch on the brake pedal that disengages the cruise control when you step on the brake. Check that switch. An easy way (but not 100% accurate) is to drive the car, lift the brake pedal up with your foot and see if the cruise will engage. If the cruise engages, the switch needs adjustment.

Just a long shot, but it doesnt cost money to check

look at the TB and make sure that the Throttle cables are nice and tight and the outside cable pulls the TB plate, thats the Cruise cable.
