98 Infiniti I30 ... problem with power window on the front passenger side ... I can hear the motor spinning but the window rolled down couple inches and will not go up or down using the power switches ... I manually rolled the glass up but it won't stay like that if I go over bumpy roads (everywhere here in north chicagoland, even on highways) ..

anyways, i presume since the motor is spinning, may be it's the window regulator problem ... Adv Auto has the window regulator for 40 bux and I want to see if I can install myself ... did anyone do it themselves or can you plz point me to a DIY site just so I know what I'm going to do/see once I open the door panel ?!? thanks ...

 

buy a haynes. i used it when i took my door apart and took off my window motor and regulator. its not hard to do yourself
