Cheapest factory quality replacement struts?

I need to replace my struts because it rides like a cadillac now. This is my daily driver so I only want to maintain it, nothing more. What are the cheapest struts that are equal to the quality of the OEM struts? Where can I get them at? Thanks in advance guys!

KYB GR-2.

These are available for a reasonable price by several Ebay vendors.

The ride they produce is very similar to the stock SE struts, perhaps a little firmer, nothing harsh.

tokico blues are stock replacements. GR-2 won't have the same comfort level, especially in the cold weather.

"Comfortable" is a term that can emcompass a lot of different things haha. It rides very gooey, like I go over a small dip while driving 40 mph and I feel the whole back end sag low then bounce back up. I don't find that "comfortable". It makes me feel like my car is an old piece of crap. Well granted it is 10 years old but I at least want to keep her in semi-good shape!

You hated the GR2s?

I had the Tokico blues on my old lowered maxima when it was lowered about 2" and those things sucked. But was that because the blues aren't set up for dropped rides?

the struts that an auto parts store sells should meet or excede OEM standards. thats probably your cheapest bet

blues are stock replacements, the illuminas are meant for a dropped ride.

the kyb AGX's had poor quality in the winter time, i enjoyed the illuminas with some strut mounts.
