Codes

Hello all. The CEL came on last night after a road trip.
Using my Actron, I received the following codes:
P0500 which is 0104= Vehicle Speed Sensor
P0325 which is 304= Knock Sensor

My questions is this:After the CEL came on, the car stalled out twice while driving around. I was coming to a stop to make a turn and the engine just died. Now I should say that the idle has been dropping below 600rpm's on some occasions, for longer than I can remember, but it's never cut off, much less twice in the same night. I figured it may have been a combination of the idle dropping and turning the wheel (lower than normal rpms and additional engine load from the power steering) that may have caused it, but I was still wondering about it. Would the vehicle speed sensor have anything to do with stalling out? FWIW, the return trip was fine with no issues, and the cruise control worked fine.
As far as the knock sensor code, life goes on....

KS is not gonna make that big of a difference IMHO. The speed sensor code ... sounds like it's probably your CC .... which you said worked fine on the return so .... dunno. Are you still pulling the same codes, have you rechecked at all???? Could be just a loos conection to a relay for the CC (speed sensor) but ... hard to tell.

Well, it just happened last night. I cleared the codes today but I haven't driven the car all day today. I'll see how the car behaves tomorrow during the commute.
I'm not particularly worried about the KS. I just changed it for the FIRST time ever, last year or maybe the year b4, and have had no issues as far as that goes.
I always wonder how the car will run once the weather changes. It's finally starting to get cooler here in NC. I know, I know...chances are remote that the weather has anything to do with it, but hey, I'm old school, AND a SENIOR Member.
And oh, yeah, I turned 280,xxx miles last night. Make me the Person of the Year of the High Mileage Club...

As an update, while I haven't checked codes today, the light has not come back. Yes, I know the kS code won't trigger the light.
My daily commute is about 25 to 30 miles one way and includes some 70-80mph cruising and stop, crawl and go. We'll see what happens tomorrow.

To update:The Vehicle Speed Sensor code has not come back. It cut off on me once since I last posted. I think I'm going to go ahead and replace the TPS at the end of the month just the same.
