HMM , i dont understand how new skyline headlights and a supercharger convert the whole car into a twin turbocharged rwd coupe...but the headlights are nice

 

I didnt say it was a skyline converted maxima, I said "Skyline Maxima" meaning skyline parts on a maxima

those lights are alomst a 1k. and if you want them HID...2500? I think it said... I guess I would just do the HID conversion after the lights.. and pocket the extra grand

Hey GTR-can you tell me something? is that a maxima? or a 4door skyline? I know they are saying it's a conversion, but if you look at the front bumper... it's sides go from wheel well to wheel well. That isn't how the fenders of the max are...

 

They must have pushed out the fenders and trimmed where the lights go in to make it look nice

Definitely a Maxima or I30 , im guessing a maxima. But definitely not a skyline sedan . skylines are pointier.

 

HE HE HE, my only interest is in that damnit lower bumper... I'm tired of the smily face bumper mine has... I thought about taking it off... but then it looks like a late 80's dodge aries K.

 

that car in pic can not be a skyline, as it is left-hand drive.

Actually Nissan never did build left-hand drive Skylines. All that you see are conversions done by companies like Motorex (although I think Motorex refers to some other place). It is like a $15k conversion but some people do it because the car is expensive to begin with. So to answer whomevers question: Yes there are left-hand drive Skyline, but they are conversions not original Nissan. Oh yeah that Maxima is TITE! Wow that is an awesome headlight conversion and tailights too (but the tails are not the first of course).

It is a sweet looking car, but how did he come up with the numbers. It states 360hp. With a bore increase, extrude honed, s/c with NOS(and i never herd of a 24lb NOS bottle). He says his car weighs 3050lbs or something, my car weighs 3250 with me in it and all my stereo sheot and I dont have half the stuff he has, his car run 14.7@94 with motor work a s/c, NOS and a racing trany?? Damn, my car ran 14.0@98 with just a 40"shot" of Nitrous. Dont know man, its a nice car but its smells like bullsheot in here.

 

thats what i was thinking... 14.7 with 360hp supercharged with nos?? thats a high 1/4 mile time... he must have ran at the track before a lot of his mods.. also the headlights look like theyre too scrunched in from the conversion, and from other pics ive seen the tails look like they werent done too well.. it looked like the side of the tails stuck out a tiny bit.. not sure if thats how it is but it looked like that from some pics ive seen... its a nice car though
