V-Power, or Iridium

What kind of spark plugs should I get in order to receive the most power from my engine?

I will tell you from experience that the Iridums are good they are good on the fuel economy and low performance and they are alot aggressive meaning they are going to spark better and faster when you turn your car over. The car normally takes 5 min to warm-up if your car is cold and has not been started all ready. The car got warmed up in about 45 seconds to a 1 min.
I noticed I lost some low-end power and had some better mid-range and top-end. I am sure the v-power are much more aggressive then the iridiums.

get the PFGR5-11 platinum OEM plugs. there is a longstanding debate about platinum vs iridium plugs, but i ended up gettin platinum just becuase thats what the car was designed for. they cost exactly the same so its up to you.

$11.16 i think from courtesy nissan. mention that you are member of Maxima.ORG.

here is a pic of a 10 year old OEM running 87 VERSUS a new one outta the box (i did my plugs last sunday)
ive noticed a REMARKABLE increase in miles per gallon. at least 3 mpg more (plus i started running premium)

I prefer the coppers just because i change them more often. If you wanna go longer intervals without changing them get the iridiums. Both will perform just one will last longer than the other.

Plugs are the same no matter where you get them.
PFGR5-11 are the same at Nissan as they are at Walmart. Nissan doesn't have special NGK PFGR5-11 plugs made for them.

Get the NGK coppers (v-power) . Go to NGK website, and read about the spark plug differences. They claim there is no difference in performance between types of spark plugs

Nissan is now using iridium on the new VQ's. I like my denso iridiums.

the only difference in copper/plat/irid. is how long they last and how often do you want to get your hands dirty changing them

nissan uses iridiums to print a nice long maintenance interval in your car's manual and advertisements - that plus the fact that you have to lift the UIM to ge tto the back 3 plugs on the VQ35

Question is there any difference in NGK V-power and NGK standard??

Pics
NGK Standard

NGK V-Power

Got those from NGKs website just wanna know if anybody thinks theres really any difference. I just bought some standards. They are the same price as the V-power, I'm just curious and debating if I feel like exchanging them for v-power

Go to autozone...ask for NGK platinums ($2.69 each) and call it a day.
