98 i30 here ... the passenger front window got stuck couple inches down, and didn't move up and down at all till this evening, while i cud hear the motor making sound ... i just tried replacing the window regulator ... question, does the window motor (or the grove on the regulator) spins continuously or does it rotate fixed no. of turns ?!? The new regulator now goes up and down, but goes up only halfway, comes down all the way ... any experiences ?!?!?!?!? plz help !!!

 

The motor is going bad and it's wearing out your going to need a new one. If it were regulators they would of not respond at all no movement from the window.
