I have 17 in rims i bought a few days ago. i plan to lower my car with sprint springs. what size tire do i need. i don't want to get to thin of a tire that when i hit a pot hole i blow the tire or bend the rim. and i also don't want the tire to rub. Where is a good site to get bfgoodrich or yokohoma tire at a really good price.

17"x7.5" = 235/45/17
17"x8" = 235/45/17

i have yokohamas on 17x7 , mine are 235/45/17 , they look perfect. but if you want nittos , get 225/45/17
