Ok..So as the title states, I believe I have too sell her. School needs too much money from me and I can't afford my Maxima anymore and have to stick to my '93 civic LX beater. I wish my 96 looked that good!

From the pictures on Car Domain, looks some rust issues? Is that why the new brace?

If the rust underneath is not bad, KBB would say around $ 5000.00 private party. With those mods and stereo you might get more, as long as someone wants those!

KBB would say mine is worth $ 3300, but I don't think I could get that!

Clean car!

Thanks!

Yes, It did have the typical core support issue.

When I replaced the support. I eliminated all of the existing rust present (aside from the new core support that was installed), and treated it so it would not happen again, or at least for a very long time.

By fixed: I wire brushed, cut out and welded in new metal, then treated with truck bed coating, then top layers of rubberized undercoating.

That is why the rust is not there anymore. And as for the rest of the car, it was treated and undercoated prior to my purchase, I just re-treated it two years in a row reviewing the underneath and problematic areas to assure there was none starting.

A: Its not suppose to be in classifieds, read the stickies there.
B: It isn't for sale yet, that is why no price. Hence the "GI" part and why is in this forum. (should read the rest of the post, and not made an assumption).
C: Thanks, gonna need it.

wow.. is all i can say. That is personally one of the nicest 4th gens I've seen. The rims are great for your maxima and your color scheme is amazing.. WOW..

the only problem I foresee is the high mileage.

You can get more private seller. I paid 5K for mine, GXE auto with cloth, manual CC, steelies, etc...with 75K for $5,000. Very well taken care of for your average car owner.

Who's white max in the background?

Thanks for the compliment!
Yeah, I know that the mileage is huge issue for any potential buyer. That is my biggest reason for this post. I just do not know what price is reasonable, what is ridiculously high, or too low. There is a lot of people on here with experience in buying/ selling our beloved 4th gens, so their experience is of great value to me. That is why I tried to be so detailed in description. This way when I do sell her, with an exception of the mileage, I am able to get what it is worth without scrooing myself or someone else at the same time. I know the mileage is huge deal to many buyers, including me. But with the upkeep, and what I have replaced/ maintained, I am hoping it may help contradict some of the outlook towards the high miles, as I would see past it mildly. But I do understand it still will be a consideration no matter what I have done to maintain the car.

That is a buddy of mine, Josh, whom I help with maintenance and repairs. He is a novice at auto repair, and with Maximas also, but learning quickly. I let him use my tools and help him at times with things on his car. I had helped him that day paint his engine/ valve cover. (pics of the process are on the 3rd page of my cardomain.)

Nice Maxima mate! You seem to have done a lot to it and it should bring a good amount for you. Personally, it's hard to say what YOU will accept ... so the price range is really on you. As for the milage ... a car in that good of shape with the mods ... and it's a VQ ... come on! Not a problem!!!! I sold my 91' Max with 213k on the clock and not in really good shape (but strong drive line) and had several people look at it ... not one of them said boo about the milage. I think you'll be suprised really.

If it were my car .... I'd look at what I have in it, what I payed for it, and how it compares with some of the local used car guys. I find that the average "personal" sellers market is not too far from what a used dealer wants ... but that may not be the case where you live. I would ask for 6k and take no less than 4750 .... but once again ... that is me. G'luck ... keep us posted!
