So my car had to go to the shop because it wasnt starting..first the battery was changed then the starter was changed and it still wouldnt turn over. The original mechanic who had it thought it might be a timing chain problem. Well i took it to someone else after that one cause it just didnt sound right to me. Just got a call from the mechanic whose looking at it now and he says its not the timing chain and that the car is running however it's misfiring. Hes still trying to determine the exact problem. It sounds to me like one of the coil packs could be bad. Any other thoughts what it might be?

pull codes ... that will tell you which cylinder is misfiring and possibly why.

If it isn't firing 2 and 3, the timing chain is a very real possibility, being off a tooth.
