Check engine codes 0201 and 0603...coils...how to fix?

Okay, so the car has been having "hiccups" after starting a few times now, with periods of MONTHS to days inbetween. It got really bad tonight, threw codes at me...then it ran fine again.

Codes were 0201 (ignition coil and power transistor) and code 0603 (cylinder 6 misfire). My question is this:

Should I just replace the coil for cylinder 6? I am short on money and cant afford to get them all fixed. Also, could it be a dirty fuel injector with this as well? Is this something I can fix? I mean, if I had instructions its something I know I can do, so are there any? I just dont know where the coils are, I see the injectors, are they by them or are they under the manifold? Also, I need to change my fuel filter, could this be causing these issues?

Im pretty sure I dont want to take it to a shop though because I already have a good idea of what the cause is (coils) and only want the one replaced (#6) but dont want to pay their outragous diagnostic fee. What do you think I should do? Thanks in advance for the input!

David

Since you're a '99, coils are almost guaranteed to be at fault.

#6 is front, left most coil underneath the cover that says 'V6 3000'. Two bolts and a harness clip, and it's replaced.

You can probably find a complete set of coils in the classifieds for cheap (~$100).

This may be repeditive but you can swap the coil to another cylinder and see if the code follows it.
