Door lock issues?

Hello everyone, I noticed the other day that my front passenger side door lock has been sticking but I didnt think anything of it. I would just have to reach over and manually lock or open it. Anyways yesterday I went to lock it by pushing it in and when I close the door and try to open it, the door opens. The lock doesnt lock my door anymore. My question is how can I fix this? Have any of you guys had this problem before? I dont like leaving my car unlocked. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

the post in the noob thread was sufficient.

Hey to answer you question about the door locks , mine do the same thing. I posted this question a while back but no real solid answers. However, my friend has a 2004 corvette and it happened to his, turns out the lock motor needed to be replaced. So that could be the problem.

Yea it makes the sound like its locking but it doesnt. The little lock thing does move but it doesnt go flush like it should. Could it still be the motor?
