FLYWHEEL Question
Ok.
I had a Fidanza Flywheel and Exedy clutch in, about a year ago. 10K ago.
so i started getting some major Shaking in the vehicle, now in mostly every gear, except when i'm cruising. Only while accelerating.
So NOW i remember the mechanic told me " There is no timing ring with this flywheel" So he took off the Timing Ring from the stock flywheel and welded it on the Fidanza Flywheel, Can This cause the transmission's Shaking ??
Another mechanic told me that it's possible that the interior peices in the tranny weren't installed tight enough which could cause this shaking.( he did not open it, just from what i told him)
Any help would be appreciated

I didn't know the timing ring had to be welded on! I thought it could just be swapped...like bolt on er somethin. I'm getting a Fidanza any day now. I hope i don't have that problem!

the timing ring can be bolted on, it does not need to be welded.
If your car has been fine for 10k with the welded lighten flywheel I highly doubt its causing a problem now.
If the clutch was installed properly it wouldn't be loose and causing a problem.
shaking could be the clutch slipping, look at the rpms and see if they are moving when u feel the shaking.
The fidanzas normally don't come with the ring, you'll have to use the stock ring off your flywheel for it to work.

But the vibration only starts when there is power being delivered. When i press the clutch in the vibration goes away.
