Crystal or frosted clear tails.

If they were to be available how many people would be interested? Also would you want all crystal clear or all frosted? Now crystal clears are just that water clear lens so you would see everything. The frosted would be a oem replica but instead of red and orange it would be frosted.

When did CE ever make clear tails?
The only clears I ever saw were for the 95-96 and they were only the outers, and they were made by APC

Mmmm, really hard to find them now. They have been discontinued for years. Now days theyve all been truned into red/clears. A set does pop up every now and then...

My buddy Dubbya found some about a year ago...

They bottoms were originally clear but turned yellowish after time from the previous owner. Dubby was able to buff them back to clear after he got them.

Not these right? Nevermind, I just realized that you meant the entire lense clear or frosted, not just the turns and rears.

I would be interested in some crystal 95-96 ones also, but not like the ones CE or whoever was making. Those where just ghey. Basically, I'd like an "updated" look but not so new looking that they seem out of place (like that other attempt did).

Better yet, 95-96 red/clears like those made for the 97-99. OEM style. That would sell like hotcakes.

So basicly the 97-99 R/C style applied to the 95-96? That would be nice.
The newer red clears that CE did for the 95-96 with all the little reflective squares are horrible in my opinion.

Exactly. Basically, replicas of the David L tails except straight from the factory like that without needing paint and without being rare and without costing an unnecessary amount of money due to rarity.

Those CE tails were

Well I was thinking about doing the inners as well as the outers . I am going to mold them off of the oem lights so they will completely resemble the oem lights. I am going to take this task on my self along with the company. I will oversee the process to make sure that this will be something presentable when done. I am personally looking to do this for my car that is the reason i brought it to the forums attention.

Reproducing something like the all-clears in the picture would be great, but could it be red/clears instead of all clears? When you say you're molding them off the OEMs you mean the exact look (minus the orange color) or just the general outer shape of the housing?

Thanks so much for taking a resource available to you to benefit all of us.

I will be using a oem lens to make the mold. So the every detail will be captured down to the dot number lol. And to be honest i am not sure if i can do the red clears as of yet but it wont hurt to ask.

Can't do the red/clears? As opposed to what, all clears? I guess all clears would be good, I'd still definitely buy a set and paint them.

When you mean the lenses just the covers and use the stock back and screws,or your making the whole piece. I would prefer to use the whole new complete sets of lenses and housings.

Yes just the front cover. Im pretty sure i can have the case molde too but that would not be as cheap as i would want this to be. I want a cheaper option to clears. I was thinking about getting the oem rear section and cleaning them up and put the clear lens on them.

If you could make the Inners to match those clear outters, I would prob b interested in the inners depending on price. I've had those clear outers packed for years cause of citations, I think your idea of just making the shells is good also. I was thinking that if you did do this, I could ask batman to make me some red strips for the lenses instead of painting them so that the lense color looks the same.

All clears are borderline rice, but they have a lot of potential. Aside the citation they looked funny with the stock inners-this is the main reason I removed them. Now all clears made to look red/clear with matching colors and a oem feel may be winners.
