i was wondering if anyone had those black ricy altezzas that noone likes and frosted the clear plastic so it didn't look like the round altezzas???
i might consider doing this so they don't look like the altezzas just like all clear tails but still light up the round led's

 

hey there is a 1996 max for 3 thou that i am thinking of buying. But it is about 11 yrs old and the owner told me it had stalled on him twice this yr.... I don't want it to die on me in the middle of the desert. Is a 96 reliable for long trips?

then take sandpaper and scuff them up to make them frosted
i did this to my 95 nissan h/b to the black altezzas and when i got done they did not look like altezzzas just smoked all clear factory but when they lit up it had the led circles(i got alot of comments from these and you know how ricy it is to have altezzas on a mini lol

if im right, i think he means to get gen 2 altezzas and red 3/4 of the tail light and i guess DTM the bottom 1/4 to make it look like a stock taillight but when it lights up, the rings show.. though about this about a year ago

Altezzas suck a**. Go with the dallas taillight mod. Only nice way to mod the tails.

 

 

ahh i have the dallas til mod right now, and i love the red clears but there are 3 honda civics in my town with them and about every other one i see has them so civics ruined that for me (like they ruin all the cool mods lol), the altezzas are unbeleivably gay to begin with, so i came up with a new option, just getting opinions on it,
