o2 Sensor on Cat!

Ok guys quick question. Both my upstream o2 sensors are brand new I just replaced them but still havent install the o2 sensor on my Cat. Will the downstream (o2 sensor on cat) o2 sensor make my car bog in low rpms? I have a bog and that the only o2 sensor I have left.

nope. that o2 sensor is only for emissions. it just makes monitors your cat to make sure it works correctly.

No, rear O2 has no affect on performance.

it bogs around 2k-4k anywhere around that in no specific gear and it goes away if I give it gas but if Im steady driving it sometimes starts to jerk and bog and If I come to a stop it either stalls or I have to keep on the gas. I replaced both upstream o2 sensors, fuel filter, and spark plugs. Im not gettin a tps sensor code but I went out and bought one for cheap and havent installed it but could the tps be doing this also?

I would also check for vacum leaks on your intake. I had the same exact problem and it turned out one of my hoses on my intake between the MAF sensor and throtle body was loose. I tighten it up and the problem was resolved.

Good advice so far....

Clean the KS connection to the valve cover gaskets too.

Have you cleaned the TB? Mine bogged & got terrible mileage till I did that. I cleaned the IAC too but it didn't give as significant a result as the TB. (Use new gaskets if you do this.)

Beyond that....toss in a bottle or 2 of BG injector cleaner or some Techron?
