so i bought some bright white headlight bulbs from sylvania...they look ****ing good, but not next to my corner lights, which glow a dim orange in comparison to my sylvanias. can anyone lead me to where i can get bright whites for my corners?

corners are not the same. The corner bulb looks to be more like a bulb. I'm thinking it's an 1156 or 1157 in there if im not mistaken.

I have sylvania silverstars and had the same problem with the ugly stock corners. I got some amber bulbs and put them in and i really like it. The contrast between the white headlights and the amber corners looks pretty good, plus you can pick up some amber bulbs for less than $5.

The Hyper White LED's are the only thing that will get you close to a bright white color like the headlights

Mine are amber right now because I think it looks a bit nicer with a thick contrast rather than trying to match up two white's.

Blue bulbs are also availiable but depending on where you live you might get a bit of hassle for them.

i think thats WAY too big, and not too sure if that kind of LED would work, but I could be wrong. Do you want red or just showing how big they are?

no I dont want red but i want the pure white color. Bc i have pure white headlights and would like to at least have pure white on the corner too bc the orange corner lights are not looking good

I think what the people above are trying to say is that you're probably not going to find a perfect match for the headlight bulbs.. and it'll look weird that way too. I'd suggest what they said: going for some ambers.

wow these threads are still happening....you will not match headlights and corners. Don't bother trying. They will never look the same. And yeah you're going to hate the yellow corners because they suck and are yellow. Not amber. Amber looks nice with amber signals. Otherwise you end up with different colored fogs, headlights, signals, and corners and your car looks awful. Amber is the best and you will not get pure white light out of your corner. It's never happened on here from my experiences. It's always blue light. Btw if you didn't know, you can't just put in the LED light into your corner. They will blink very fast unless you wire in a resistor.

I had this problem before lolz until i figured it out...like it was said above your corners will never match might as well just get some ambers...LEDs look waayyy better than the regular bulbs..here are some amber LEDs

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1157-...spagenameZWDVW

but if you still want white there's these

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1157-...spagenameZWDVW

and they do fit in the Max i had them ..you don't need a resistor for these since they are only the corner light...you do however need a resistor if you put an LED into you blinker....I'm not sure what from what year it starts but when you put an led since it's a different load you blinkers blink fast ...it's like a warning letting you know that your bulb has blown...but you don't have to worry about that unless your getting blinkers also...if you need any help im in NY too just hit me up

Yeah thanks for that correction. I didn't notice that I had started thinking about the corners (blinkers) and didn't catch myself.

I agree. Use the Silverstar 1157. They give a nice amber glow at night, and a nice blue/orange look with them off.

well if you use nightshade the lights will shine through. It's not worth led tails because with tinted tails and tinted window you won't see **** anyways

i bought some led tails for my car and they showed up more dim than the filament style. and they run require so much less power that my car registered it as being out - so it was the super duper cool quick blinker rice mod (in the blinker). and that basically did it for me. on the front corners though, don't they come from the bottom up? so wouldn't a 90 degree bulb work better if it could fit? i know they have them at superbrightleds.com. anyway i had tinted tails when i tried the leds and like i said it was worse. it was bright in one spot but it sucked in my opinion - they were even the wide angle leds bulbs. anyway good luck

Good luck finding/making those. IF you do figure it out, post up your pics. I may want to borrow the idea.

no don't think so. you need an orange reflector in the front of the car. Signals can be amber, yellow, or white.
