you know its not just about blinding others but your beam pattern too right?
your in queens,,,go to celltech $95 and those HIDz are quality... my cousin and uncle both have them....a lotttt of people on NYC MaX get them there too....theres also another spot in Queens...on Atlantic good HiDz too meng...
He wanted color temperature. ^^ but good heads up, Kinda wish I lived there. I'd buy mine from them. Anyways. To answer your question
3000K:yellow
4600K-5000K: bright white
6000K bright white with a touch of blue
7000K Bluish white
and so on...
12000k:Purpleish
4600k provides best lumens for seeing as the higher temp option is for cosmetic (color) reasons. As the temps are mainly cosmetic, you do lose lumens a little. I wanted function more than anything so I bought 4600K. I will be buying 3000k for my fogs in a month or so.Also, single Xenon/ Bi-Xenon is another option. I bought Bi-Xenon because I wanted to retain my High beams.
Like was stated above, do a search, Google if anything. You will learn a lot more. Plus if you use Google pictures, you can see color temps too. VIP has 12000k in his headlights AND fogs (They DO look sweet Mike). If you search you will find pics of his so you see the difference, as most guys on here use 6000k for that touch of blue. I just wanted white, so I used 4600k. Plus, I haven't had the dough to get retro'd yet. So I am working in baby steps. Once I have my B.S.M.E., its war! Lol. But you make the choice of what temp you want. That is what matters.
