Im converting back to to stock from DEK and my car will not idle after I start it up. The Idle Air Control Valve will constantly click on and off.

I have tried another IACV and it still clicks.
I have traced the wiring all the way back to the ECU and it checks out okay.
I have checked all the fuses and relays.
No check engine lights, codes read nothing is wrong.

Does anyone else have any ideas? I am at a stand still and I want to drive the car into a wall.

Here is a video of what it is doing.

Make sure that your ECU screw isn't in self diag mode, that will do it.

Wow, I didn't watch the video until now. Still check ECU mode. But care to elaborate on what's up with the wiring

I think your car is trying to make a vicious beat or it's a ticking time bomb waiting to go off. or it's trying to talk to you.
I would check the ECU or the wiring for some extra voltage.

You know mine does the same thing. IT is also stalling on cold start up..where talking like negative temperatures, like -3 to -10. The revs shoot up to 1500 then drop and stalls. The idles kinda lopey in the cold only when its been sitting over night. I wonder if that has anything to do with it?

I never noticed it before, i thought it was my IACV but i was never too sure where the exact noise was coming from.

also make sure you have the proper idle speed 650 - 700 rpm with the car in neutral tps sensor harness off adjust it if needed if its to high it will cause the stepper motor to work hard (clicking) noise

ok so the ECU was in diagnose mode, that fixed the clicking THANKS!
I cleared the computer but it still doesn’t stay running,
it is a real confident start, but it dies unless I give it gas, any thoughts?

Try the good old disconnet the battery for at least one day that should work.
unless you tryed to fiddle around with the screw.

Sounds like you've got some wires crossed. Check out your birdsnest and make sure they're connected properly.
