Wanna do some exhaust work need some advice

I wanna do my exhaust system next. Its the next thing on my list to do. Dont have a exhaust system now just a OBX racing muffler. I wanna get a y-pipe, i also bought a cut-out a few weeks ago. So i was wondering if its a good idea to do the y-pipe then instead of my cat have my cut out welded to a straight pipe then go 2 1/2 for the rest? What do you guys think? Need your input on what i should do.

Cut out welded to a straight pipe works. 2.5" all the way back to keep the noise down.
Otherwise go 3" all the way back for more power.

That’s interesting, how did you pull that off?

Sounds like something I would do. Headers, Cattman B-pipe, either stock piece or 5th gen stock piece. , I would do that w/ an SC.

3" electric cutout http://www.quicktimeperformance.com/QTEC/ /o2 sim/
Switch her Open at the track. and the sim is to keep the cel off.

3" definitely with your boost.

IMO, get custum bent stuff behind the headers. Its cheaper, and you can make it whatever way you want. You could make it very quiet with resonators and a muffler, then use your cutout with or without some sort of piping. Not sure on space constraints however.

GL man

I have stock headers> warpspeed y pipe> straight pipe(cut out)> Greddy SP2

Sounds perfect IMO since the SP2 has some resonators inside it. Not too soft, not too loud, just a moderate, agressive grumble to it.

Since I have no space for the 02 from my cat I just run an 02 sim. no codes.
