Thank you Sprintmax. I will have nice ride quality and looks?
But tokicos are expensive cause they are adjustable. I need something non adjustable but good quality. Thank you.

Bro, Tokico's are not adjustable. KYB GR2s are NOT adjustable either, KYB AGX are, so are the Koni's. (andy, thanks for the correction). However KYB GR2s are a lot cheaper. You can't adjust them. H&R sprints give you a nice even drop around 1.3.-1.5 in front-back and they are the closest to stock as far as ride quality is concerned. Other choices for a small drop would be Eibachs which are also around the same 1.3 range but they are way stiffer and the ride will be much more harsh. All other springs are 1.7-2.0+ drops. You can always get Coilovers but they are a bit pricey plus the ridequality is very harsh, however you can adjust the height and go from a stock height to a tiny drop to a flat out slammed look like "geomax" has with his max.

Why are KYB are cheaper. Are they bad in quality? And am I winning anything in price by getting non-adjustable?

My friend, do a little research first. KYB GR2 are non-adjustable, KYB AGX are adjustable.

Val, get H&R springs and KYB AGX adjustable shocks. You can always adjust them to your liking. I have H&R/Koni combo and I love it.

KyB and coni are different brand right. So what do you recomend.H&R/Koni or H&R springs and KYB AGX. Also how much am I looking to spend on parts and labor?

Not coni, koni man koni
Well, if you get Koni then you need to make modify your strut housing. For some people it's a pain in the neck. Also, I think AGX are cheaper a little, not sure about the ride quality. And man, please use search on this topic

depending which adjustable and non-adjustable shocks you are comparing. KYBs are probably the best priced ones, both adjustable and non-adjustable....

(Someone correct me if i'm wrong)
-KYB AGX - adjustable, about 400$ from places like www.eatricezone.com, there was a group deal for 380$ shipped, don't know if it's still going on. Synki set it up I think.
-KYB GR2s - a bit stiffer then stock and better quality, prices are probably the cheapest for aftermarket struts - 200-250$????? (anyone?)
-Koni's - great quality, 3 way adjustable (?) but pricey as hell, like 500-600$ per set????
-Tokico's - I've heard some negative feedback from some people regarding them but I think they match up great with H&Rs, stiffer then stock. Around 300$ or so. (?)

Springs there are many choices, the smallest drops offered are H&Rs and Eibachs, the softest ride is H&Rs.

BTW...... Val, I still haven't heard directly from you about how you're getting to the Woodbury meet, did you have plans set up to go with the Queens/LI crew or are you interested in coming with the russkis (NYC GXE, me, sergy, probably psing, possibly cooler2000) you probably saw the post, I'm just wondering.. thanks man

I dont have time to search cause I am college. Where do I get the instructions on how to "modify your strut housing" and do you hear any noises when going over bumps. Cause people usually hear it when using after market springs and shocks. Thank you.

Read the sticky at the top of the 4th gen forum. Lots of very important info in there which you should know before you do the job.

Nickstam used to have a great write up on how to modify the strut housing and install Koni shocks but it's gone
No, I don't hear any noises. If you take time and install new suspension correctly you'll have no problems.
