Bye Maxima...

Well my buddy is giving me a really good deal on his old (and cherry) WRX.

So it is time to say good bye to the maxima. It was a great reliable car, surprisingly quick.

my car's for sale here http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=549248

but this isnt meant to be a shameless plug, more of a THANK YOU to the org, what a great community and tons of knowledge just a search away. again thank you all.

You're going to like AWD but the clutch is hard to change on that car.

GL with the sale.

Thanks, I had a WRX 2-3 years ago, I loved the AWD... the clutch is *****y, but worth it.. and so much power is easily freed up in that car. Anyway thanks again.

99grnmaxgxe - Thanks

ROCKART & udienow - Yes I sold it for 2500, Yes that is 500 under LOW kbb, for a pretty cherry car, but I needed to get rid of it fast, I already got my WRX, and I needed this off my insurance and out of my driveway.

I still have the ACT clutch and HR springs if anyone wants them, PM me an offer. I had this car for sale for 2-3 weeks, I just wanted it gone. No disrespect to the maxima, it was just a money thing...

Thank you for that very insightful feedback... Any backing behind this comment?

I happen to love the AWD, power, and handling these cars come with, as well as their huge potential as a project car.

I am interested to know why you feel that way though.

i just feel like wrxs and sti's are cars that guys have and only GUYS like them. lol
my sister has an 05 legacy gt-limited 250hp/250 tq and when my bro in law and myself were driving on the highway my car pulled on it pretty bad. i tried going awd about two months ago but missed out on this audi i wanted to buy about 160 miles from my house, this guy in his town bought it the day before i was going; anyways its discouraging but subaru's are just garbage to me unless you get a bt. its just my opinion. yea they handle nice but if you want a car for handling you don't get a subaru... do you?
