Stuck in Park
My '97 is running, but it won't allow me to put it in any gear. Is there a way to use the shift lock?

Push the big button on the left side IN and then move the shifter around.

Should be the shift inhibitor relay (E61) not moving or the inhibitor switch (F51) not working. Wiggle the shift lever a little.

Your steering wheel may be locked and thus you cant shift. Try turning your wheel left or right until it moves then shift.
