Rear Window Problem

I searched before I posted this but couldn't find any info. I've never had a power window problem with any of my cars before so I'm clueless with this. My rear window suddenly fell down about 3 inches while driving around. It would not respond to the use of the button and I was able to move it up and down by pulling on the glass.

Now the window is all the way up but it wont go anywhere. It moves slightly when I press the window switch. Do I need to replace the window regulator? Motor? Is it possible for me to repair the current parts?

Thanks

the cable might have came lose. do you hear the motor run when you hit the button? if not its the motor. doesnt sound like a regulator problem. ususally if the regulator is bad the window gets stuck.

just take it apart and look at it. youll have to take it apart anyways to fix it. and if its the rear window its no big deal if the door panel is off.
