Hey guys, first time poster. Love the forum and all the guidance on here. I've been able to do so many DIYs cuz of all the help on here.

I'm having a little trouble and I'm sure you guys can help me out. So I got my hazard switch out, unassembled it to change the light (which was burnt out) and now I can't assemble it back together properly. There is a white tab in the base that allows the switch to close properly and I just can't figure out how to position it.

I read somewhere that its a PITA to close properly and I need some guidance. I'm sure a lot of you guys have gone through this, so please help this first timer

I did this a few weeks ago. Sorry, I can't remember exactly what I did...but I did have to take it apart again a few times til I got it right. Did you get the 2-pack of 12volt micro bulbs from Radio Shack too?

Yeah I got the 2 pack from Radio Shack as well.

Do you remember where you positioned the white tab???

I know its trial and error, but at this point I'm stuck. I can close it up but its non functional. Just can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

Anyone????

yeah my cruise control switch doesnt work due to me trying to take it apart to change the bulb. and my dvr heated seat switch is out. i wish i'd just have bought another switch. the vent lights are easier to replace than the damn switches. i cant believe courtesy nissan is charging like 55 bucks for a damn heated seat switch!

I looked on Courtesy jus for kicks to see what the prices are. I thought maybe 20 bucks or something but nope, more like 40-50 bucks for those lil switches. Ehhh what can ya say, the parts are dealer parts AND new. Still, not having to deal with unexpected headaches and having new parts...priceless.
